NPA strongly believes that if electronic commerce and online activities are to flourish, consumers must be assured that information provided online is used responsibly and appropriately. This online privacy statement explains how NPA collects, uses and safeguards information on its website. This Online Privacy Statement applies only to information collected by NPA through http://www.neuropoint.org. To protect online privacy, NPA has implemented the following policy.
This policy applies to your use of the http://www.neuropoint.org website (the “Site”), which is operated by or on behalf of NPA. This policy covers only information collected on this Site and does not cover any information collected offline by us.

As our organization, membership and benefits change from time to time, this Online Privacy Statement is expected to change as well. We reserve the right to amend the Online Privacy Statement at any time, for any reason. We will post a notice that this Online Privacy Statement has been amended by revising the “Last updated” date at the top of this page.
Most data NPA collects are used only to help NPA better serve its members and the neurosurgical community. It is our policy to collect and store only personal information that our members and visitors knowingly provide.
From General Users. NPA does not collect personal information from users browsing this Site, except through specific feedback forms. Completion of these forms is optional. By submitting a feedback form or otherwise submitting feedback (including but not limited to requests for quotes, remarks, ideas, or suggestions for improving or changing Site of Site content) you automatically grant to NPA a royalty-free, non-exclusive, perpetual and irrevocable license to use or otherwise incorporate the feedback into the Site or in our services. Users of the public areas of the Site browse anonymously. Only aggregate data — such as the number of hits per page — are collected. Aggregate data are only used for internal and marketing purposes and do not provide any personally identifying information.
Retaining Personal Information
NPA retains personal information regarding project participants indefinitely and personal customer data for at least five years as dictated by business and legal requirements.

Users will find content on this Site that link to the sites of organizations who have resources for the purposes of education and information in connection with NPA. We do not control the contents or links that appear on these sites. In addition, these sites or services, including their contents and links, may be constantly changing. From time to time, this Site requests information from users by way of surveys.
